I did not set up nature as my background by accident. I consider nature as one of my main sources of inspiration, to which the human body is directly linked. When analysed very close, the human skin, with its pores, tiny hairs and imperfection, is very much akin to the structure and textures of a tree bark or a cracked desert floor seeing from the sky. The abundance of hair can be interpreted as a forest canopy, under which lies an ecosystem.
